Unfortunately, due to the limited budget (reportedly just $1 million) most of the locations are repeats from previous films in the series--the identical boat house was featured twice in the film and a lot of the film appears to be a re-use from previous films in the series. Hatchet or Hatchet II may be able to recognize it as familiar, which could result in the film feeling almost too familiar.

Overall, Hatchet 3 was a excellent series. There were many gory moments (blog) and several great performances by the cast.
